- Breeding places must be usually cleaned.
- The environment must be clean and to have good ventilation conditions. These conditions mustn’t affect the birds’ breathing system, and should be easily modified in case of emergency.
- The birds must be kept in suitable cages (size, number and hygiene), to avoid overpopulation, also to reduce fights to get the food, perches, space and even to reduce stress
